12-8 What are the requirements for the process system in the compressed air station design specification?

Compressed air station process system requirements include effective filters, outdoor air intake, appropriate air drying devices, precise filters for dust control, aftercoolers, safety valves, noise reduction measures, and waste oil collection, all complying with relevant standards.

Answer: (1) According to the dust conditions of the environment where the compressed air station is located, the air compressor's air intake system must be equipped with corresponding effective filters or filtering devices.

(2) The air intake of the air compressor's air intake system should be installed outdoors and should be protected from rain. In hot areas, the air intake of the screw air compressor can be installed indoors.

(3) The selection of air drying devices such as refrigeration, heatless regeneration and heating regeneration adsorption should be determined based on the air supply system and the user's requirements for air dryness and air volume, and after technical and economic comparison. When the user requires that the dried compressed air cannot be interrupted, no less than two sets of air drying devices should be selected, one of which is a spare. When using a heatless regeneration adsorption air drying device, an oil-free lubricated air compressor should be selected; when using an oil-lubricated air compressor, effective degreasing measures must be taken for the compressed air before entering the adsorption air drying device.

(4) When the user has requirements for the dust particle size of the compressed air, a filter of corresponding precision should be installed after the air drying device, or after the air storage tank if there is no air drying device; when the gas point requires the supply of compressed air with dust particles less than 0.5μm, a high-precision filter should be installed at the gas-using equipment. Compressed air filters are not required except for users who require that the gas supply cannot be interrupted. The selection of the heat source for the heating regeneration adsorption air drying device should ensure the regeneration effect, facilitate maintenance and management, and save energy. When steam is used as the heat source, its temperature should meet the adsorbent regeneration temperature requirements.

(5) The air drying device should be installed after the air storage tank. The temperature of the compressed air entering the adsorption air drying device shall not exceed 40℃.

(6) For the complete assembly of the oil-injected screw air compressor unit, an aftercooler should be installed between the minimum pressure valve outlet and the air supply main pipe, and a shut-off valve should be installed; a vent pipe should be installed between the minimum pressure valve and the shut-off valve. A check valve must be installed at the casing outlet of the non-complete assembly of the oil-free screw air compressor. A shut-off valve should be installed between the check valve and the main air supply pipe. A safety valve must be installed between the check valve and the shut-off gate, and a vent pipe should be installed.

(7) The outlet of the air drying device and the filter should be equipped with an analytical sampling valve.

(8) The layout of the air compressor's suction and exhaust pipes should reduce the impact of pipe vibration on the building. The pipes between the air compressor and the aftercooler should be easy to disassemble and remove carbon deposits. Thermal compensation should be considered for the exhaust pipe. In cold areas, anti-freezing measures should be taken for the oil and water pipes on the outdoor ground.

(9) Compressed air stations should adopt noise reduction measures such as sound insulation, noise reduction and sound absorption on air compressor units, pipes and their buildings in accordance with the requirements of GBJ 87-1985 "Design Specifications for Noise Control in Industrial Enterprises" and GB 03096-1993 "Urban Area Environmental Noise Standards". Sound insulation duty rooms, suction silencers, etc. can be set up.

(10) Compressed air stations should be equipped with waste oil collection devices.
